| Proprietary Fluorophore Labeling Reagents |
Labeling peptides with fluorophore reporters has always been fraught with limitations: poor dye selection, dye isomer contamination, inefficient dye incorporation and poor sensitivity. Biosearch's family of CAL Fluor and Quasar labels were designed with peptide labeling in mind and have been extensively performance tested in a variety of assay formats. Each of these dyes exhibit:
- High coupling efficiencies
- Built-in spacer arm
- Devoid of isomer contamination
- Exceptional S:N ratios
CAL Fluor® Dye Carboxylic Acids
Biosearch offers a number of CAL Fluor carboxylic acids with emission maxima from 520-635 nm. CAL Fluor dyes are replacements for TET, VIC, HEX, JOE, TAMRA, Texas Red®, ROX and LightCycler® Red 640.

Quasar® Dye Carboxylic Acids & Active Esters
Biosearch offers Quasar carboxylic acids and active esters with emission maxima at 570 and 670 nm. These dyes are replacements for Cy®3 and Cy5.
