The following is a list of the custom Plexor Primers, Plexor Human Control Gene (HCG) Primers and Calibration Dyes available from Biosearch Technologies. Please remember that you will need to order a Plexor unlabeled primer at the same time you place your order for the fluorescently-labeled iso-dC Plexor primer. (Note that Plexor HCG Primers are sold as a primer set which includes the unlabeled primer at no additional charge.)
This list also contains individual Calibration Dyes which are required for calibration of real-time instruments to correctly detect the CAL FluorŽ and/or QuasarŽ dyes used on Plexor primers. Calibration Dyes can be ordered at the time you place your order for Plexor primers or they can be ordered separately on the Biosearch Technologies website.

After designing your primers using Promega's Plexor primer design software, please download our excel order form and follow these step-by-step instructions to place your order for Plexor primers, Plexor unlabeled primers and Plexor Human Control Gene Primers:
- Begin by filling out the Customer Contact Information section completely. Be sure to include a PO number as this is required for initiating fulfillment of your order. Alternatively, if you wish to use a Credit Card for payment, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1.800.436.6631 (US/Canada only) or +1.415.883.8400 or by email at info@biosearchtech.com for additional instructions;
- If you are ordering Human Control Gene primers at this time, please indicate the quantity of each HCG primer requested in the Human Control Gene Primers Section of the order form;
- Next, to submit your Plexor primer sequence(s) for synthesis, open the email you received from Promega containing the Complete Solution Set for your Plexor primer design system project. Once open, locate the first Plexor primer sequence and copy and paste only the iso-dC-DNA portion of the sequence from the email into the Sequence (5' to 3') Field on the order form. NOTE: Do not include the fluorescent dye here. See Step 5 for dye entry instructions;
- Assign a unique name for the Plexor primer and enter this name in the Sequence Name Field;
- Next, select the fluorescent dye required (FAM, CAL FluorŽ Orange 560, CAL Fluor Red 610 or QuasarŽ 670) from the drop down menu in the 5' Modification Field. (Remember that the dye name is shown on the 5' end of the Plexor primer sequence generated by the Plexor primer design software and provided in the email from Promega);
- Repeat Steps 3, 4 & 5 for submitting additional Plexor primers for synthesis;
- To order the Plexor unlabeled primers provided in the Promega email, Repeat steps 3 & 4 for as many as you wish to order. Step 5 is unnecessary as Plexor unlabeled primers do not contain a fluorescent dye;
- Finally, please indicate in the Calibration Dye Field which calibration dyes you wish to order;
- When you have finished setting up your order, save the excel order form on your computer, open a new email window, address the email to info@biosearchtech.com, add any comments to the body of the email and, finally, attach the excel order form to the email and send. Within 24 hours we will send you a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order and providing you with a Sales Order Number and total dollar amount, less shipping charges;
- A final email will be sent to you once your order is ready for shipment. If at any time you need to check on the status of your order, please feel free to email info@biosearchtech.com and provide your Sales Order Number. Alternatively, you can call Biosearch Customer Service at 1.800.436.6631 (US/Canada only) or +1.415.883.8400 and ask to speak with a Customer Service Representative.
