Dye Calibration Standards |

CAL Fluor® and Quasar® dye calibration standards are required by some real-time thermal cyclers in order to generate a spectral emission profile of the dye. This information is stored in the thermal cycler’s memory and is used by the thermal cycler software to:
- Control for channel cross-talk
- Quantify the amount of signal generated after each amplification cycle
Since it is essential to fine-tune your qPCR instrument, Biosearch Technologies provides calibration standards to help our customers optimize the performance of their thermal cycler when using our CAL Fluor® and Quasar® dyes in real-time, qPCR assays. We developed these vibrant fluorophores to expand your selection so you can find the best combination of dyes for your assays. This increased flexibility in dye choice allows you to maximize signal to noise results from multiple targets in the same tube.
We also offer FAM calibration because of its ubiquitous use in real-time PCR assays - allowing you more freedom to use the dyes that provide you with the best results on your instrument.
